Derek Brown was first introduced to soccer by watching his older brother play. At 5 years of age he started playing in his local city league and never stopped. He grew up playing for a couple different clubs around the Portland area and carried on playing in various leagues in the greater NW region. He spent 6 years coaching locally and is currently pursuing his D license.
